This Privacy Notice tells you what to expect in relation to personal information about you which is collected and processed by "History to Life!". I acknowledge and agree that any personal data of yours that I handle will be processed with all applicable data protection laws in force from time to time.
With effect from 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulations will come into force.
The information that will be collected
When you complete the contact form above or contact me directly via phone or email, the data collected will include your name, school name, email address, phone number and any other information voluntarily provided by you.
How I use the information
The legal basis for retaining this data will be to to contact you in response to your enquiry for further information, to confirm a booked visit or to liaise with you prior to the Day.
It will enable me to comply with any legal requirements, pursue the legitimate interests of the Company and protect my legal position in the event of legal proceedings. If you do not provide this data, I may be unable in some circumstances to comply with my obligations and I will tell you about the implications of that.
Disclosure of your information
Your personal data will be stored within the UK, and treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to any third parties.
Your rights
You have the legal right to withdraw consent to me storing and using your data to contact you. To withdraw consent, please contact me and your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Data Storage
Your data will be stored securely electronically or in the booking diary and retained for 30 years for business accounting record keeping, future communication regarding your interest or booking, or unless you contact me to request its removal.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Notice may be changed by "History to Life" at any time. This Privacy Notice will be updated in due course to comply with any further requirements under the GDPR.
